This is one of my favorite cheese balls that I use often for
entertaining
--especially at Christmastime.
Dot's
Cheese Ball
2 - 8 oz. pkgs. Cream Cheese
1 - 8 1/2 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
2 c. chopped nutmeats
2 T. chopped onion
1 T. seasoned salt
Beat together softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add pineapple, 1 c. nuts, onion and salt. Place in foil or plastic wrap and shape into a ball (or two). Chill overnight and roll in remaining nuts before serving.

Shannon-
I want to help.
I was there near the beginning of your ministry when I was a Minister's wife.
You and Christina were there for me when my husband and I went through
troubling times at our church. You, Christina, and countless others were
there for me when my husband was tragically lost in a horrific car accident
that involved our whole family. You have been there for me during my
healing, both physically and emotionally. You have personally counseled me
via IM as I have embarked on a new life. I have appreciated all you have
done and the countless times you have blessed my life.
Now I want to be there for you.
I'm not sure how much I can give. I don't know how much you need. Please
let me know some figures and where to send a check.
Love,
Karin
Shannon: Thank you
Karin. Probably the greatest heart ache that
Christina and I have experienced with this ministry is
being aware of the heartaches and trials of so many of
our sisters in ministry. To not be able to do
something solid for them would be a tragedy.
Thanks to people like yourself, this ministry not only
has reason to exist, but will continue to breath life
into others just as you have now breathed life into
someone else through your financial gift. God
bless you for being steadfast!

Dear Shannon...and all at Sarah's Tent,
You have certainly been a blessing to me since the first time I read your newsletter.
I am secretary for an online ministry called LIGHTHOUSE700. I have written before, but it was quite a while ago.
We have grown. I used to do the weekly newsletter and send out "thoughts" and daily devotionals from the Pastor and others who have wanted to share their talents and ministry work. Well, we don't do that anymore....and I must admit I
rather miss doing the newsletter every week, but our new "method of delivery" is so neat I have to share it with you.
Their is a site called FAITHSITES. I will give you the link to our website and you can look at this FREE service for yourself. It is a template design that you can change, update, add,
delete....ALL kinds of features that might make your job a bit easier or less cumbersome and you can designate someone to help you.
Shannon, whether you do Sarah's Tent Newsletter weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, I will read it from top to bottom...sometimes twice (and that's not like me...) I have enjoyed and been blessed by it over and over.
God bless you...Keep up the good work.
Cate

Life
in the Fishbowl-A Book for and About Ministry Wives
This is a site designed for ministry wives to
personally contribute to research that will be used
for a future book project. All submissions are
anonymous. My desire for this book is
two-fold.
- To show through journal submissions, and the
survey that we are not alone in our joys and
struggles.
- To allow our "flocks" into our world in
order for them to understand our lives as well as
give them vision and practical helps to bless our
families as we continue to minister to them.
